Sarine Salama, LMHC

Sarine is a bilingual (English/Spanish) psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience working in the Mental Health profession. She uses a collaborative approach to effectively work with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Her expertise lies in working with anxiety, depression, and challenging behaviors with various populations. 


Sarine is passionate about helping individuals and families learn coping skills to process stressful life events. Her counseling style and goals are to provide supportive individual, family and group counseling in a therapeutic environment in order to obtain best outcomes.


Sarine also has experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities and assisting their family members with creating appropriate care plans. In addition, she also has extensive experience providing caregiver and patient counseling, support, educational programs and referrals in relation to Alzheimer’s Disease.


She is also a Qualified Supervisor for Mental Health Interns. 


EDUCATION:

Graduate: Sarine received her Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2006. 


Undergraduate: Sarine earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Miami in 2004.
