Sarine is a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of clinical experience working in the mental health profession. She is the Clinical Director at Live Well Therapy Group as well as a Qualified Supervisor for Mental Health Counseling Interns. Sarine’s expertise lies in working with adolescents, adults, couples and families who are facing difficulties with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, conflict, life transitions, grief/loss and managing challenging behaviors in children and teens. She also has a passion for working with individuals with Autism and Alzheimer’s Disease as well as their family members.
Sarine has received extensive training in Anxiety and Depression and is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional. She is also trained as a Gottman Level 1 therapist and utilizes the Gottman method in her work with couples. Sarine prides herself in using a non-judgmental client centered approach in therapy and meeting her client’s needs on an individualized basis while focusing on empowerment, challenging and reframing negative thoughts and building healthy coping strategies. She utilizes various evidence-based treatment modalities in her work which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT and DBT.
As a wife and mother of two teens, Sarine enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling and volunteering for various organizations.
