Alex works with individuals across all age groups including children, adolescents and adults. She completed her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Miami.
Alex has experience in private practice, working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and body image concerns. She has a particular interest in working with young adults going through major life transitions. When working with clients, she uses an integrative approach to meet the needs of each client. She pulls from various evidence based practices, mainly cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, and client centered therapy.
Alex strives to create a comfortable, warm, safe space for her clients where they can explore the past, as a means of understanding their present, while working towards their future. Alex is committed to meeting each client where they are at, and walking alongside them to get to where they would like to be.
Outside of the office, Alex enjoys spending time in the ocean and exploring Miami.
