Annie is a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist who works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She believes in creating a trusted therapeutic relationship where clients can express their thoughts and feelings.
Annie's professional experience includes helping clients with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, adjustment disorders, stress, trauma, relationship issues, parent-child relations, prenatal/postnatal care, impulse control, and eating disorders. Annie uses a collaborative approach when providing therapy to fit the client's unique needs. The primary theoretical approaches she utilizes are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Annie strives to empower, support, and strengthen her clients' well-being and mental health.
When Annie is out of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Some of her self-care practices include meditation, journaling, watching a TV show, listening to music, and some quality alone time. When the opportunity presents itself, Annie loves traveling and learning about other cultures…as well as trying new foods!
