Elizabeth De Armas is bilingual and brings hands-on experience as a Registered Behavior Technician, where she worked with children and teens diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD. Elizabeth also has experience supporting children and teens with anxiety disorders, including Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), and providing parent training for families navigating ADHD and other behavioral concerns.
Elizabeth draws from evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while tailoring her approach to each individual client. She believes there is no “one size fits all” method and values collaboration; working together to find a strategy that best fits your needs. She is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where clients can feel seen, heard, and understood.
In addition, Elizabeth is trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1) and is committed to helping couples find practical tools to enhance their relationship. Her focus is on guiding partners toward greater understanding, shared meaning, and a stronger connection.
Outside of the office, Elizabeth enjoys cooking (she’s always trying out new recipes!), staying active through exercise, watching hockey, traveling, and spending time in nature.
