Stephanie completed her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Carlos Albizu University. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults, supporting clients through a variety of challenges. She has experience in both individual and group settings, helping children navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, stress management, self-esteem, life transitions, and interpersonal difficulties.
She takes an integrative approach to counseling, tailoring sessions to meet the unique needs of each client. Her primary theoretical orientations include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Mindfulness-based practices. She strives to create a safe, supportive environment where client’s feel heard, accepted, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their life.
Believing that every person has inherent strengths and potential, Stephanie works collaboratively with clients to build resilience, enhance self-awareness, and foster lasting growth. Her goal is to help clients not only overcome challenges but also thrive in their personal and professional lives.
Outside of counseling, Stephanie enjoys traveling to explore new places and cultures, spending time with family, friends and her dog Chloe as well as working out and going to the beach. She believes in practicing what she teaches by maintaining balance and prioritizing wellness in their own life.
