I believe that everyone deserves a safe space where they can feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, navigate life's challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change.
As a therapist and school counselor, I have the privilege of supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families through a wide range of personal and relational challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered, meeting each person where they are while working together toward their unique goals.
I earned my Master of Education in Counseling and Development and have remained committed to expanding my knowledge and clinical skills through advanced education in marriage and family therapy as well as ongoing continuing education in the field of mental health. I believe that learning is a lifelong process and strive to provide evidence-based, compassionate care that reflects current best practices.
Born and raised in South Florida, I have been fortunate to grow up in one of the country's most culturally diverse communities. Living in this rich melting pot of cultures, traditions, and perspectives has shaped my appreciation for the uniqueness of every individual and family. I welcome clients from all backgrounds, cultures, identities, and faith traditions and am committed to providing culturally responsive care that honors each person's values and lived experiences.
My years as a school counselor have reinforced my belief in the resilience of people and the importance of having someone who truly listens. I have a special passion for working with adolescents and young adults while also enjoying working with adults, couples, and families. I have developed lasting relationships with many of the students and families I have served and consider it a privilege to be part of their growth and healing.
Having personally witnessed the impact addiction can have on individuals and the people who love them, I also have a special interest in supporting individuals and families affected by substance use and recovery. I understand that healing often involves the entire family system and believe that hope, connection, and compassion play an important role in the recovery journey.
Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, being outdoors, and caring for animals. One of my lifelong dreams is to create a farm and animal rescue where the healing connection between people and animals can be incorporated into the therapeutic process.
Seeking support takes courage, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they discover their strengths, overcome obstacles, strengthen their relationships, and build lives filled with greater purpose, connection, and hope. My hope is that every client who walks through my door leaves feeling heard, valued, and empowered—because healing begins when we realize we do not have to face life's challenges alone.
