Andie is a licensed mental health counselor who works with children, adolescents, and adults. She completed her Master’s and Specialist Degrees in Education with a focus in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Florida.
Clients who seek her services are often looking for support, acceptance, and guidance. She believes that people are always doing the best they can with the resources available to them, and they also want and need to deal with their struggles more effectively - and that's where she comes in.
She uses an approach of person centered, strengths-based foundation combined with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) methods to help each person best reach their goals. Together, she works to create a warm, safe, and genuine space that each person can use to gain self-awareness and feel supported and empowered.
She specializes in working with adolescents and young women who are struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, identity development, transitional periods and relational issues. She also has extensive experience working with children and teens in all facets of life as they navigate "growing up."
When Andie is out of the office she enjoys reading, yoga, and spending time with friends and family.
