Kyla is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with children, and adolescents with a history of trauma, abuse, abandonment, neglect, anxiety, depression, and behavioral difficulties. In addition to her extensive experience working with children, she also has experience working with adults, unmarried and married couples, and families experiencing difficulties in areas such as parenting, intimacy, work life balance, communication, suicide prevention, postpartum depression, and chronic mental illness.
During her six year tenure in the Mental Health field, she has gained experience with diverse mental health diagnoses which include, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and Schizoaffective Disorder.
Her approach to therapy whether individual, couple, or family is individualized where she works together with her clients to form therapeutic goals and facilitate change in a safe non judgmental environment.
