Cecily has widespread experience working with individuals of all ages. She has specialized primarily in children ages three through six who have been diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, and other related disorders. She has experience developing and implementing complex behavior treatments with a focus on decreasing problem behaviors, increasing desired behaviors, improving self-confidence and esteem, and improving self-regulation. Cecily has also worked directly with the parents and families of children who have been diagnosed with behavior disorders. She has been involved in parent training, play therapy, and didactic parent-child interaction therapy.
Cecily attends conferences to broaden her awareness on mental health issues throughout various populations. She firmly believes that a healthy and trusting therapeutic bond with her clients is the key to a successful therapeutic outcome. She strives to learn about her clients as a whole and provides a comfortable and accepting space for them. Her main goal is to improve the mental health of the individuals and families she works with.
Graduate: Cecily is currently finishing a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Miami.
Undergraduate: Cecily earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Florida, graduating with honors.
