Barbara Padron, MS, LMFT

Barbara is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Her goal when working with others is to bring restoration and healing to their lives.  She uses a collaborative approach to counseling, understanding every client’s need is different, and healing cannot be rushed.  She has worked as a psychotherapist since 2004 and is bilingual (English/Spanish).  Her preferred approaches to counseling are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and uses the Gottman approach when working with couples. 


She is experienced in treating depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, stress and trauma related disorders, substance abuse disorder, pornography addiction, co-dependency and relationship issues.  


EDUCATION: 

Graduate: Barbara received her Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Studies, at Nova Southeastern University. 


Undergraduate: Barbara obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree at Florida International University.
